SOCIAL MEDIA ,A MAJOR DRIVE FOR 21ST CENTURY BECOMES AN AGENT OF DEGRADATION TO NIGERIA EDUCATION - MR LEE

Some if not All will agree with me that Education is changing in a way which is directly or indirectly affecting the performance (Those who couldn't evolve and balance things ) of Nigeria students,Most Especially  the youths and young ones ..

The carp from various students over their poor performance or results at their various schools/institutions of recent makes most wonder if the education of then is the education of now  ? .The Fact is that Education is evolving as things are changing and properly fitting into the 21st Century checking it from the aspect of new age Technology .

Now most students ask themselves where they are getting it wrong ,is it Reading rate ? ,is it Attending of lectures ? Is it overnight study ? Is it lack of prayer ? Etc but can't till now really find a suitable answer which might bring up solutions to solving the problem at hand because 60% of those who now fail or have poor results were once brilliant students  who always come out with great results  ,so the questions are ..

Are they not more brilliant ?
Is the brain they read with then been infected ?
Are the lecturers/Teachers changing their pattern or style of teaching ?
Is God not more answering students prayers ?
Those who passed are they having double heads ?

Hmmmmm , After Looking through all this above and the agitations of the students  ,I then see that one major factor that had changed from then till now isn't really education itself or mode of reading  but  "The ways and manners Students uses the Social Media"... Do you Agree ?

21st Century is meant to be a reign of Ease & not of failure cause we have various technologies we can use to do various things ,but are we using them to their advantages or disadvantages ?

As Students we should see the Social Media as tool for ease e.g easy communication with mates ,Browsing of books ,Watching of videos etc . But Most students misuse or let me say  overuse it ,Even some students Snapchat ,Instagram etc More then the Celebrities  without properly balancing it with their everyday life ...

OK Back to the Education of then When you do come out with good grades ,if you agree with me ,most don't even know how to use this social Media's  the way they do now or some even don't have the opportunity to use big phones etc then ,but now we have these devices as students (laptops ,Phones ,Etc ) and are been carried away with them ...

Imagine a student who reads then overnight holding a torchlight phone or none and another of Now who goes to read overnight with his/her phone  replying to WhatsApp ,Instagram Facebook ,BBM Messages while reading ,then even with laptops to see movies maybe when tired  ,so tell me who will assimilate better ? 

As Students we can actually use the social media to bring out the best in us the more only if we can plan well by doing the right things at the right time (E.g focusing when reading ,Then having fun when less busy ) ......So know yourself ,and do things your own way for convenience  "Balancing & planning is key to Success ".

Permit me to step aside on this with this below
