LSRC TO HOLD SECOND EDITION OF NATIONAL STUDENTS' REPRESENTATIVE CONFERENCE

Law students Representative council Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife will on Wednesday 31th October, 2018 hold the second edition of National Students' Representative Conference at Oduduwa Hall.

The second edition titled' NIGERIA'S YESTERDAY,TODAY AND TOMORROW: THE EFFECT OF ADEQUATE LEGISLATION ON THE NIGERIAN ECONOMIC SITUATION' is to honour the senator representing Osun East Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator Babajide Omoworare, as he marks his 50th birthday.

The speaker, Law Students Representative Council,   Rt. Hon. Olawuni Tobi A. told Newsmen that the main purpose of the conference is to bring together students and most especially students parliament to sip from the wealth of knowledge from those who have make it in their different areas of life

Dignitaries expected at the conference include: Prof.Eyitope Ogunbodede,Vice Chancellor Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife ; Dean, Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University, Prof.S.B Odunsi; Rt. Hon.Yakubu Dogara, Speaker, Federal House of Representatives; His imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja2; Rt. Hon Najeem Salaam, Speaker Osun State House of Assembly; Hon. Adegboye, Deputy Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly among other invited dignitaries.

Students from other schools have also been invited to grace the occasion as well and also, all the legislative arm of every society on campus have been invited.
