OAU Loses Another Student

Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife has today lost one of its Student,Omotola Akorede Kayode, a part 3 student of department of Microbiology.

According to a release signed by he Registrar of he Institution, M.I. Omosule said Omotola Akorede Kayode died after he slumped during a football match with his Colleagues.

"We regret to inform the University community that one of our students, a part 3 student of the department of Microbiology Omotola Akorede Kayode died suddenly this morning, Friday 17th May, 2019.

"The reports has it that the student was playing football with his colleagues when he suddenly slumped. He was subsequently rushed to the health center where he was confirmed dead on arrival. All resuscitative measures proved abortive.    

"We commemorate with the parents, the family, colleagues and the entire University community over the irreplaceable loss. 

"May God grant us the fortitude to bear the loss", the release read.
