OAU DSA Extends Halls of Residence Vacation Date


The Division of Students' Affairs of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife has extended the vacation date from Halls of residence residence.

This is not unconnected to the extension of the university rain semester examination 2015/2016 session for the participation of the university in the on going PRE NUGA.

The management has hereby extended the vacation date from halls of residence to on/before Saturday, 15th of April as against Saturday, 8th of April that was pasted earlier on the notice board of Mozambique Hall of Residence.

This was contained in a special release signed by the Dean,  Division of Students' Affairs, Professor (Mrs)  Grace Akinola commended Great Ife students  for the determination to conclude the rain semester examinations successfully.

The release said "All students are expected to vacate the Halls of Residence on or before 15th of April, 2017.

Students are advised to take away all their belongings (Luggage) along with them since this is the end of the session and the university will want to put in places necessary arrangements against students' subsequent resumption.

However,  any students who has any any genuine reason (S) to stay behind on campus should formally get approval to do so, through Head of Department and respective Dean of Faculty, from the Dean of Students' Affairs.

The Division solicits the understanding and cooperation of all students and wishes them journey mercies to their various destinations and a wonderful break at home."
