FG APPROVES RECONSTITUTION OF OAU GOVERNING COUNCIL

THE Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University has been reconstituted after it has been dissolved last year by the Federal Government.

The new Governing Council is to be chaired by Dr. Yemi Ogunbiyi while other members members of the Governing Council includes: Mr. Adekunle Sanni, Muhammed Bello Kaoje, Prof. Felix Madubuike and Mr. Inowei Akono.

The new Chairman of the Governing Council was once a lecturer in the then Department of Drama and Literature of the varsity.

Meanwhile, the former Governing Council were dissolved during the VC crisis in OAU in 2016.
